Is Out in Front for me?

Out in Front strives to serve the broadest definition of the LGBTQ community. We welcome anyone with a passion for working toward equality, social justice, and the time and energy to commit to the intensive training program we’ve built. Wherever you come from and wherever you’re going. Contact us if you have questions.

Who runs Out in Front?

Out in Front Seattle, founded in 2008, is organized by a dedicated all-volunteer team of LGBTQ leaders from Seattle and across Western Washington with experience in politics, non-profit work, and the business community. Check out our About Us section for a complete list of names and bios for our organizational team.

What will I learn?

Out in Front focuses our curriculum  on nine topic areas ranging from intracommunity diversity, leadership styles, and movement building, to board service, public speaking and media relations skills, all with a focus on the local and regional LGBTQ community. Dig through our Program section for more details.

Can I afford it?

Out in Front is largely funded through private donations. We charge a sliding scale tuition based on participants’ annual income and offer additional options such as partial tuition assistance to ensure the greatest possible access to our program. If you have further questions, go look over our Tuition Policy for details.
