Now More Than Ever

Many in the LGBTQ community are reeling from the recent election results. As we search for answers and determine our course of action for the next few years, we at Out In Front are even more determined to continue to develop the leaders of the future. Now more than ever we are convinced that the skills and experiences gained by our graduates are vital for the health and welfare of our community. Your gift today is critical to that work.

We’ve asked three of our recent alumni to share with us the role that Out In Front has played in their lives, their careers and in their leadership within the community:

“I am still generally willing and able to have conversations with people who I perceive as trying to remove my civil rights. I have also been fortunate enough to receive some AWESOME training in cross-cultural/worldview conversations (Thanks Out In Front!). So I have great tools to rely upon.” – Rhys Hansen, OIF ’16

“Out In Front changed my life! I can not recommend this program enough. They truly set me up for success- and I learned so much about my community and myself in those 9 months. The other wonderful thing about this program is that I have met amazing people who want to make the world a better place. What’s better than that?” – Megan Duncan, OIF ’12

“The biggest victory or gain from the program would be, I just spent nine months with people who want to fix the world, or their own small worlds, or make the world better, and we all learned a lot together, and all had the opportunity to make friends with people who want to make things better.” – Julia Velez, OIF ’16

Today we ask for your support, so that we can continue to provide our future leaders with a safe space to expand upon their skills, talents and experiences, to prepare them to take on the important roles of tomorrow. Thank you for your generous gift.

In gratitude,
